Dr. Elsie Osei was born in Accra, Ghana and is a graduate of University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She obtained her medical degree from East Tennessee State University and completed her family medicine residency at MAHEC in Asheville with affiliation at Mission Hospital. Dr. Osei is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Board-Certified physician through the American Board of Family Medicine. She has ten years’ experience in family medicine with special interest in women’s health, preventative health, and obesity medicine. She is the founder of One Health Direct Primary Care, a membership-based family practice clinic providing primary care that is affordable, easily accessible,
and personalized to all patients irrespective of insurance status. Dr. Osei lives in Henderson County with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, nurturing her artistic side with making African inspired jewelry and African print bags and cooking with her family.
